Re: new gaming system added to group games.

I forgot to add that bounties are reset every 2 weeks, and the player who had a bounty on their head when bounties are reset gains a 1 use prize. For this 2 weeks, the prize is a +1 ring of any ability score of your choice.

New system added into group gaming

Hey guys TSGmatthew here with an important update. I have added a couple of new systems into our DnD games. These systems are called the Bounty and the Creep Score systems. Allow me to explain Creep Score first. Creep score is a system i came up with that rewards players for doing well. How creep score works is everytime you kill an enemy, you gain Kill points equal to its level. Boss enemies such as Dracoliches and Beholders, and various other powerful creatures award an extra 5-20 points based on how powerful they were. Now why do Kill points matter? Kill points track how well a player does in dungeons. And i'm now setting up a weekly contest. The player with the most Kill Points (or KP) at the end of each week will be given a prize they can give to any ONE character of their choice. Now, what is the Bounty System? The Bounty system is a way for players to surpass the previous winners of the KP contest. Whenever someone wins a contest, they have a bounty put on their head worth 10 KP which doubles everytime they kill a player in PvP tournaments, wins tournaments, or slays a boss enemy. When a player with a bounty on their head is killed by another player, the bounty is claimed by the killer. The bounty claimed by the player is equal to the price on the quarries head. But these KS need to originate from somewhere right? Well when the bounty is claimed, the player who had the bounty loses KS equal to the price on their head, and the player that claimed the bounty gains a bounty on their head equal to half their claimed bounty. A player with a bounty on their head who doesn't show up for PvP tuesdays or thursdays will have their bounty increased 10 fold and lose an equal amount of KS. If the player with a bounty falls within such a case, simply defeating the player in a game of yugioh, magic the gathering, or another contest of the sort will be eligible for the bounty to be claimed, but the match is only valid if witnesses within the group observe the contest. This week, the player with the highest KS will receive a Vorpal Longsword certificate good for any one character to gain a Vorpal Longsword. Ready players? On your marks, get set, LET THE GAMES BEGIN! Ive been Matt, and ill keep you in the loop.

Just an idea...

We were thinking of recording us playing DnD outside of school during weekend D&D games at either Brandons house or my house. By recording i mean camera. I just thought that putting them on my youtube account would help us get a little bit of income to help us get dice and miniatures as well as other DnD products. You will need to get your own dice before November. I can supply you with a set for 15$. If you don't have a set of dice, you can buy a set off of me for that price. However, unless you are a participant at the wednesday night dnd at gamezilla for certain events, you will not get any Promotional Dice. But again, i will supply you with a set of dice for 15$. But that price is the current price and is subject to change as i only have a certain number of sets (2) that i can spare. After i run out, the price will increase to 18-20$. If this iritates anybody, im very sorry, but a full set of dice is not incredibly cheap. And i need to replace the sets i gave out, so... Lets roll the die. I've been Matt, and I'll keep you all in the DnD loop.

New year, new rules to screw with.

Hey guys,
Matthew here. I know we are all bummed by school being back again, but with a new school year, comes more rules to screw with. Brandon and I have an idea for how we will be doing Dungeons and Dragons at school. And most of it will involve screwing with rules! We will be using the new DnD Next (5th edition) rules currently in playtest, but we are allowing players to play charcters from 3.5, 4th edition, and 5th edition. When using 4th addition, anything vs. Reflex becomes a contest vs. Dexterity, vs. Fortitude becomes a contest against strength or constitution (whichever suites it best), and vs. Willpower will be a contest against Wisdom. If you do not have a character from a previous game, create a first level character from the edition you prefer. First level characters have no magic items. We also have a house rule we call Title Powers which gives you a unique ability relating to your title. 4th edition characters gain an at-will, encounter, and daily power unique to their title. Also we will have 2 parties and will be doing party vs party, joint campaigns, and other fun things. Anyway, i've been Matt, and i'll keep you in the DnD loop.
